The Heart Behind Grays River
The name "Grays River" is more than a business title; it is a tribute to Grayson, a young man who changed the course of my life in ways I never expected.
In 2014, I began supporting Grayson, a young boy with cerebral palsy, as his in home caregiver and school paraprofessional. For over a decade, our lives were deeply intertwined. We navigated the complexities of his medical needs together, facing every challenge and celebrating every milestone side-by-side. Grayson taught me that true caregiving is not just a clinical task—it is a partnership defined by advocacy, presence, and dignity. He was a masterclass in resilience, and he showed me that everyone deserves a team that sees the person, not just the diagnosis.
On Mother’s Day of 2025, Grayson was called home. While he left this world, he left me with a mission that burns hotter than ever. The name “Grays River” is a permanent tribute to him. I founded Grays River Homecare because I realized that the standard of care Grayson deserved—the kind that looks past the paperwork to see the human being—is exactly what so many families in Idaho are searching for.
As owner of Grays River, I have built this company on a simple, personal promise: we provide the same unwavering, personalized advocacy that defined my decade with Grayson. We aren't just providing services; we are here to support you or your loved ones with the same dedication I brought to my own life's work. At Grays River, we ensure that no family has to face the journey of medical fragility alone.
